Global and Norwegian investors, entrepreneurs, scientists and business managers came together in Oslo on 12-16 October 2009, to put innovation and financial benefit on the agenda during Oslo Innovation Week 2009.
Oslo Innovation Week consists of a number of events focusing on subjects within innovation and business politics. The idea is to create platforms for entrepreneurs, investors and knowledge environments from which they can promote new ideas and growth.
The innovation week was opened with a symposium in Oslo City Hall on Monday 12 October, where the challenges posed by future energy demand were discussed and Norway’s role in meeting these challenges was addressed.
Oslo Innovation Week is an Oslo city council initiative, aiming to get innovation providers in the region together in a common effort for investment in sustainable energy. Oslo Teknopol is the project leader for Oslo Innovation Week 2009.
